Claiming Property from a Property Search Account

After registering for a Property Search account, you can claim a property. Claiming a property makes it easier to access that property from your account each time you sign in.

 

What You Need to Claim Property

Depending on your situation, you will need one of the following ID types and PIN:

  • Property ID or Owner ID
  • Agent ID if you are a Tax Consultant
  • PIN associated with the ID
    • The PIN can be found at the top of your Notice of Appraised Value. You may use your current notice or one from a prior year. If you do not have access to your PIN, please visit our Help Center or call 210-242-2432 to request it. For security reasons, this information can only be sent by mail.

 

Confidential Properties

If you are the owner of a confidential property that is not normally displayed in the public Property Search results, you can register for an account and claim your property.

Once the property has been successfully claimed, you will be able to view your property information through your registered account regardless of its confidential status.

 

See the steps to claiming your property below:

  • Once logged in, select My Dashboard, then select Claim Property.

 

  • Enter the Property ID or the Owner ID along with the associated PIN, then click Validate.

  • If you are a Tax Consultant, enter the Agent ID and associated PIN, then click Validate.

 

  •  Once the Validation Successful message pops up, click on Claim Property.

 

Viewing Your Claimed Property

After claiming property:

  • Sign in to your Property Search account.
  • Select My Dashboard on the left side of the screen.
  • Your claimed property should appear on your dashboard.
