✅ Step 1: Make Sure Your Protest Has Been Received
Before submitting your evidence, confirm that your protest has been received and entered into our system. Evidence submitted without a valid protest on file cannot be processed.

🌐 Step 2: Go to the BCAD Help Center
Visit: https://help.bcad.org
Click the “I need help with...” button to start your submission.
📝 Step 3: Fill Out the Request Form
Enter the required information, including:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Property address or Property ID
Then, under the Request Type dropdown menu, select:
Protest → Submitting Evidence
📎 Step 4: Upload Your Supporting Documents
You can upload the following types of evidence:
- Sales comparables
- Photos of property condition
- Repair estimates
- Closing documents
- Any other relevant documentation
📌 File formats accepted: PDF, JPEG
📦 Size limit: Up to 10MB per file; total of 20MB
🖼️ Photos: Please limit to no more than 10
Once uploaded, click Submit.
📩 Step 5: Wait for Confirmation
You will receive an email confirming that your evidence has been received.
Your documentation will be reviewed by BCAD staff and included as part of your protest record. If more information is needed, someone from our office will contact you.
