If you filed your protest online, submitting evidence that you would like the appraisal district to consider as part of your protest through the online portal is best.
To upload your evidence:
- Log in to your protest portal at bcadonline.org.
- Click on the Protest Summary page and select the Evidence View tab.
- Click the Upload button under the Upload column to go to the Evidence page.
- Follow the instructions on the Evidence page to upload the documents you want the appraisal district to review.
- You will see your uploaded documents listed.
- The district will review your evidence and notify you when a settlement offer is available.
If you did not file your protest online, or you no longer have access to the online portal, you can submit your evidence electronically through our Help Center at help.bcad.org. Before submitting your evidence, you must confirm that your protest has been received and loaded into our system.
Once verified:
- Click on the I need help with... button on help.bcad.org.
- Enter the requested information (e.g., name, phone number, etc.).
- Under the Request Type dropdown and select Protest followed by Submitting Evidence.
- Images, comparable properties, and other supporting documents can be uploaded directly to the request. To attach a file, click the box under Attachments and locate the file on your device, or drag and drop the file into the box. Once all of your evidence has been uploaded, click Submit.
- A response affirming your submission will be sent once it has been received.
- Please note that file size limits apply. If you have additional evidence that exceeds the file size limit, submit an additional request and attach the remaining evidence.
If you prefer to submit your evidence by mail or in person, please refer to our contact below.
