This type of operation is in the business of cultivating the soil for planting vegetables and depends on a good source of water for irrigation purposes. It is typical for this type of operation to utilize some type of irrigation system; however, as there are some types of crops, such as okra, that do well in dry land areas and may not require irrigation, each operation should be considered separately.
